Sarah Chamberlain (she/her) is an investigator, mediator, assessor, and facilitator with a background as a labour and employment lawyer and human resources professional. She has practiced across all areas of labour and employment law, including human rights, privacy, civil litigation, and labour arbitrations. Sarah is known for her thorough, responsive, and practical approach to investigations and conflict resolution.
Prior to joining Hawkins Lang & Price, Sarah developed her workplace investigation expertise at a workplace investigation firm.

Investigator
Sarah conducts workplace investigations in both the public and private sectors, and in federally and provincially regulated workplaces. She has investigated matters in diverse sectors, including municipalities, health care, sports, and education (working with youth and adults). Her work emphasizes thorough, responsive approaches, and practical, collaborative solutions to reduce workplace conflict. Since 2016, her investigations have addressed a wide range of allegations, including sexual assault, sexual harassment, discrimination, and bullying and harassment.
Mediator
Sarah provides mediation services to resolve disputes and facilitate discussions, including in post-secondary, municipal, and federal environments.
Workplace Assessor
Sarah conducts organizational assessments to assist employers in obtaining information from their employees in a confidential, neutral process to help them address employee challenges in a proactive and supportive way.
Trainer
Sarah has provided training to employees and managers on a range of topics, such as respectful workplace issues and conducting investigations.

Sarah worked at a prominent boutique labour and employment law firm as a summer student, articled student, and associate for six years prior to becoming a third-party investigator.
