Muriel Henry (she/her) is an experienced labour and employment lawyer and investigator who has centred her career on the practical and respectful resolution of workplace disputes. She has practised exclusively in the area of workplace investigations since 2018, and takes an impartial, thoughtful, and sensitive approach to every file.
Before joining Hawkins Lang & Price, Muriel practiced at a workplace investigation firm for six years.

Investigator
Muriel investigates matters involving bullying and harassment, discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and general workplace misconduct. She has completed trauma-informed interviewing training and has handled investigations involving youth, young adults, and adults.
Her experience spans both public and private sectors, in unionized and non-unionized settings, and in provincially and federally regulated workplaces. Her clients have included educational institutions, municipalities, community-services organizations, healthcare employers, provincial public-sector organizations, Crown corporations, and national and international private companies in industries such as forestry, marine services, manufacturing, finance, and hospitality.
Workplace Assessor
Muriel conducts assessments to identify and recommend issues for resolution and areas for growth in varied workplaces.
Workplace Investigation Trainer
Muriel delivers training on respectful workplace issues and conducting investigations.

Muriel began her legal career with a national law firm before becoming a founding member of a Vancouver labour and employment boutique firm. She later served as in-house counsel to the Canada Post Corporation, where she developed strong collaborative relationships across the organization and with multiple unions.
Muriel also practised within the provincial public sector, providing legal services to government. In all of her roles, she was frequently involved in workplace investigations, including advising on process and recommended outcomes.
