Marion Galinski

Marion Galinski (she/her) is an experienced workplace investigator with over 20 years' experience in labour and employment law, as well as human resources. As a compassionate, fair, and impartial investigator, she has focused exclusively on workplace investigations since 2020 and has specialized in complex and sensitive matters, including sexual harassment, sexual assault, and other serious misconduct. Marion conducts thorough, impartial investigations with a strong commitment to fairness, confidentiality, and procedural integrity.
Prior to joining Hawkins Lang & Price, Marion focused exclusively on workplace investigations at Western Canada’s largest workplace investigation firm for six years.

Marion is a trauma-informed investigator who approaches every interview with care, respect, and an understanding of how trauma can affect individuals. She is known for conducting difficult interviews with empathy and professionalism, helping participants feel psychologically safe and respected while maintaining the integrity of the investigative process. Clients frequently retain Marion for repeat engagements, reflecting their confidence in her expertise, discretion, and investigative judgment. Her experience spans the public and private sectors, including unionized and non-unionized environments and both provincially and federally regulated workplaces.

Marion's career started in Toronto, Ontario, where she practiced law at a leading labour and employment law firm. Marion then worked as in-house legal counsel in the financial and retail industries prior to moving into a human resources leadership role in 2013. She is accredited as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources, CPHR BC and Yukon, and a Senior Certified Professional with the US Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP). Marion is a member of the Workplace Investigations Section of the Canadian Bar Association's BC Branch.
